The Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District serves over 217,000 residents in a 285 square mile area. Customers include the Cities of Green Bay and De Pere; the Villages of Allouez, Ashwaubenon, Bellevue, Hobart, Howard, Luxemburg, and Pulaski; the Towns of Green Bay, Humboldt, Lawrence, Ledgeview, Pittsfield, Red River, Scott, and Suamico. Procter & Gamble Paper Products Company is a contract customer.
The Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District collects and treats an average of 38 million gallons a day (mgd) from the Green Bay facility (30 mgd) and De Pere facility (8 mgd), removing more than 97 percent of its pollutants.
